Welcome to my blog! 

I’ve been quilting in the 1970’s. And adore quilts of illusion. You know, the quilts that look like they move or maybe they look like they have shape. . . .real “op art” stuff. I guess I am a child of the 60’s and 70’s.

I love my job! I love creating quilt designs and teaching them through my classes, books and patterns to quilters.  I am the author of 10 books and have been designing fabrics for quilters since 2001. (You can see more on my website at http://www.karencombs.com)
